Ford E-Transit

Ford is making a major push toward electric vehicles by introducing 7 EVs in Europe:
Seven all-electric Ford Motor cars are being introduced in Europe, including a battery-electric version of the Puma small crossover, the company’s best-selling passenger vehicle on the continent. By 2024, three new all-electric passenger vehicles and four new all-electric vans will be available; they will all be produced in Europe.
At Ford’s factory in Cologne, Germany, the first EV will be a midsize crossover that will start production this year. A single charge will allow the electric crossover to go 500 km (311 miles). Its production of it will start in 2023 when its name is revealed later in 2022.
Beginning in 2024, Ford will also start producing a second car at Cologne, which it described as a “sports crossover.” The Puma electric crossover will debut in 2024 and be produced at the Craiova, Romania, Ford plant. In Craiova, Ford will also begin producing the new Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier vans in 2023. All-electric versions will follow in 2024. Turkey is presently where the vehicles are made.
By 2035, when the European Union intends to outlaw internal combustion engine vehicles, Ford claims that the company’s EV push will help it achieve zero emissions for all of its vehicle sales in Europe. The carmaker announced last year that by 2030, all of its passenger models will be electric only in Europe, and by that time, it plans to sell two-thirds of commercial vans that are either all-electric or plug-in hybrids.
